MISTAKE #1 People confuse “converting” their earned income with “sacrificing” their earned income.

More often than not, you don’t need to put your earned income into your investments at all. In fact, very frequently paying in your earned income hurts your growth rather than helps it. The smartest strategy is to leverage against your earned income so that you can borrow to invest. We show people every day how to invest without sacrificing their lifestyle and living on less.

MISTAKE #2 Thinking that investing is the same as waiting; that asset income only happens in the future.

Most people don’t realise that an intelligently selected investment property in a high growth area can increase your available cashflow TODAY. Let me stress this, in real estate there is no such thing as “get rich quick” – it doesn’t exist. In fact, we commonly see that most people massively overestimate what can be achieved in five years but massively underestimate what can be achieved in 15 years. Yes, you will see the most observable differences in the future, but a well selected property will make a difference to you today.

MISTAKE #3 Mistakenly believing that a “simple” idea is also “easy” to get right.

For example, tax is a “simple” concept, right? However, the 3,274 pages of the Income Tax Act 2007 suggest that taxation is far from a “simplistic” matter. Similarly, the idea of converting your earned income into automatic income can sound pretty simplistic on the surface. But just like you need professional help with your taxes, you need professional help to become a successful property investor.

MISTAKE #4 People think they first need to increase their earned income.

This is not the case at all. When you remove what we call “financial inefficiencies” from your life, there’s usually plenty of money left for investing. The two biggest inefficiencies are taxes and interest on personal debt. We cover this in a lot of detail at our Property Investor Nights and show you the process we use to eliminate both of these problems fast and invest at the same time. You don’t need to choose between these, you can have both.

What time do the seminars start?

All seminars start at 6:30pm, with doors opening at 6:15pm. The evening goes for around 2 hours: the presentation is about 90 minutes, then there is half an hour for questions, networking and refreshments.
